The similarity lies in the resemblance of the player controller and a guitar, your senses toward the music’s beat and flexi finger skills.

The shape of the controller is similar to an electric guitar, but, not as big or complicated as the real one. Holding of the guitar, regardless standing or sitting is the same as when you hold a real guitar. The white two-directional switch in the center of the guitar, known as the strum bar, will play a note when you push or pull this up or down; the note being played will be determined by pressing combinations of the five coloured fret buttons on the guitar’s neck at the time of playing.

Then, there is this small stick near the strum bar known as a whammy bar which you can move to modulate the sound produced. Finally, the typical PlaySation Start and Select buttons have been formed as fake volume and tone knobs. Just don’t try to turn the volume down with them.

Starting the Game must be relatively easy for all enthusiast gamers. You just need to plug the guitar into the controller port, turn on the TV, PlayStation or Xbox 360, insert the game disk and you are on the way.
